ABOUT THE FILM

The film was the brainchild of actor Chris Briggs who plays Michael. Having lived with Multiple Sclerosis for many years and been involved in various activities to raise awareness of the condition, Chris approached writer/director Ben Manning with a proposal to make the film. Initially envisioned as a short film, Ben soon recruited Mollie Fyfe-Taylor to play the character of Ruth and collaborate on the production. Ben and Mollie then worked on developing the idea into a feature length film and Ben set to work writing the script which tells the story from the perspective of all four of the main characters. This gives the film various drip-fed twists and turns and reflects the real world fact that whilst we may jump to conclusions about the people we meet and the way they behave, there is often far more to their story than we realise.

Although initially rejected for funding to make the film, and with Emmeline Braefield on board to play Michael’s daughter Helen, the four were so passionate about the story that they decided to go ahead and get the film made. With production now complete and the film about to stream on Amazon Prime, a number of special screenings are also being organised around the country.
